This Data Deletion Policy outlines how you can delete, clear, or request the removal of any data associated with your use of the Finance Tracker mobile application. We respect your data ownership and provide immediate tools to manage your records.

1. How to Delete Your Local Financial Data

You can permanently erase all financial transactions, account data, category setups, and budget parameters directly from your device at any time. This action is instantaneous and cannot be undone.

Method A: Delete Data inside App Settings

1. Launch the Finance Tracker application.
2. Navigate to the Settings menu.
3. Go to the Edit Transaction History section and tap the Delete button.
4. Confirm the prompt. All stored transactions, budgets, and categories will be permanently deleted from device storage.

Method B: Clear App Storage in Android Settings

1. Open your Android device Settings.
2. Go to Apps → All Apps → Select Finance Tracker.
3. Tap on Storage & Cache.
4. Tap on Clear Storage (or Clear Data) and confirm. This wipes all offline SQLite data files permanently.

Method C: Uninstall the Application

1. Long-press the Finance Tracker icon on your home screen or app drawer.
2. Select Uninstall and confirm.
3. The Android OS will instantly delete the app sandbox partition, deleting your entire transaction database history automatically.

2. Third-Party Diagnostic & Telemetry Data Deletion

While your financial data is 100% offline, Google Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob automatically collect basic anonymous metrics for diagnostics and advertisement matching. You can delete or reset this data as follows:

• Resetting your Google Advertising ID: You can reset or delete your unique advertising identifier at any time. This detaches any browsing history associated with ad delivery:
  Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset/Delete Advertising ID.
• Firebase Analytics Retention: Non-personally identifiable diagnostic parameters are automatically cleared from Google's analytics servers within the standard analytics cycle (typically between 14 to 60 days).

3. User Account Deletion

Since the application does **not** require user accounts, logins, usernames, passwords, or emails to function:
There are no online user accounts to delete. You are entirely anonymous, and there is no database record linking your real identity to the app's diagnostic logs.
