This Data Safety Policy explains how Finance Tracker collects, shares, and protects your data. We are committed to transparency and want to help you easily complete your Google Play Store Data Safety declarations.

2. Data Security Practices
We take security seriously and utilize the following industry-standard safety practices:
- Encryption in Transit: All diagnostic, performance, and ad telemetry sent to Google servers is fully encrypted using secure transfer protocols (HTTPS/SSL).
- Sandboxed Local Storage: Your local database resides inside Android's private directory sandbox. It cannot be accessed by other apps on your device and is protected by device-level OS encryption.
3. Data Deletion Rights
You have full, absolute control over all your stored data:
- Local Data: You can completely and permanently delete all your financial records at any time by tapping Delete icon in Edit Transaction History inside the App Settings, or by clearing the app storage inside your Android settings.
- Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling the application instantly and permanently erases all of your local transaction databases from your device sandbox.
- Third-Party Telemetry: You can reset or opt-out of ad tracking identifiers through your device settings at: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset/Delete Advertising ID.
